These terms apply when you order from C.C. Wells online for collection. Please read them before you place an order. If anything is unclear, call us on 01362 697633 or email orders@ccwells.co.uk.

Ordering online

Ordering online reserves your produce and a collection time. When you place an order we email you a confirmation. Your contract with us is made when you collect and pay for your order.

Orders for each collection close at 1pm the day before. The website shows this above the collection dates and won’t let you choose a collection once its ordering has closed.

Prices and paying

We buy fresh from the market every day, so our prices change with what we pay. That’s why prices aren’t shown online. You pay the price on the day for what you collect. If you’d like to know a price before you order, just ask.

You pay when you collect, by card or cash.

Weights and availability

Items sold by weight are weighed when we pack your order, so the amount may be slightly over or under what you asked for, and you pay for the actual weight.

If something is unavailable on the day, or isn’t up to our standards, we’ll leave it out and you won’t pay for it.

Changing or cancelling an order

If you have an account, you can change your order’s items, collection time and notes from your account until 1pm the day before your collection. Otherwise, or to cancel an order, please contact us before 1pm the day before your collection.

Collecting your order

Please collect within the collection time you chose, at the collection point you chose. If you can’t make it, let us know as soon as you can. Fresh produce doesn’t keep, so we may not be able to hold an order that isn’t collected.

Quality

We check everything we sell, but with fresh produce things occasionally go wrong. If you’re not happy with anything, tell us and we’ll put it right.

Your rights

Fresh food spoils quickly, so the 14-day cancellation period that applies to many online orders doesn’t apply to it. Nothing in these terms affects your other legal rights as a consumer.

Your account

If you create an account, please keep your password safe. You’re responsible for orders placed from your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
